About the Role
At Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants, our mission is to impact lives positively by serving our Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. As a valued member of the Corporate Field Operations team, the Shift Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing successful shifts. Your role focuses on meeting sales and profit targets, ensuring adherence to operational procedures, and delivering outstanding service to both Guests and Team members. Together, you will help position the restaurant as the premier choice for customers and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and profitability through exceptional Guest satisfaction and efficient restaurant management.
- Communicate any issues or suggestions related to the restaurant, employees, or Guests promptly to the General Manager.
- Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures during shifts to maintain standards.
- Train Team Members on operations, policies, procedures, and Guest service techniques.
- Address complaints and promptly handle any violations of policies or procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable work atmosphere for employees and Guests.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess 1 to 2 years of managerial experience in the restaurant industry, preferably within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
- Have basic mathematical skills to support operational functions.
- Ability to work varying and extended hours as required.
- Demonstrate high energy levels to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
