About the Role
At McDonald's in Flat Rock, NC, the Shift Manager leads restaurant shifts, ensuring customers experience fast, accurate, and friendly service every time. This role involves guiding crew members and other managers to maintain outstanding Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards. Shift Managers plan and monitor shift activities, address operational performance, and ensure safety, security, and profitability targets are met. Communication with the incoming shift manager is key to seamless shift transitions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce food safety standards throughout the shift.
- Facilitate effective internal communication among team members.
- Manage inventory to guarantee smooth operations.
- Oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Lead and support crew members during the shift.
- Ensure quality food production according to McDonald's standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor safety and security protocols.
- Coordinate scheduling assignments.
- Provide training and development opportunities to the team.
Qualifications and Requirements
Ideal candidates possess prior leadership experience, preferably in restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments. A positive, team-oriented attitude with a flexible schedule is essential to thrive in McDonald's high-paced atmosphere.
