Shift Manager

Purpose of Role

As a Shift Manager at Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager by overseeing successful shifts focused on achieving sales and profit targets, enforcing company procedures, and delivering outstanding service to both guests and team members. The goal is to help make the restaurant the preferred destination for customers and a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability by enhancing guest satisfaction and efficiently managing restaurant operations.
• Report any concerns or suggestions related to the restaurant, employees, or guests directly to the General Manager.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures during shifts.
• Train team members on operational standards, policies, procedures, and guest service expectations.
• Address complaints and promptly respond to any violations of policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for both employees and guests.

Prerequisites

• 1 to 2 years of management experience preferably within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
• Fundamental mathematics skills.
• Flexibility to work varied and extended hours.
• High energy levels to keep pace in a fast-moving environment.
