Job description
Purpose of Your Role
At Checkers & Rally's Drive-In Restaurants, the Shift Manager plays a vital part in positively impacting Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. As part of the Corporate Field Operations team, you will assist the General Manager by managing productive shifts aimed at reaching sales and profit objectives, ensuring operational procedures are followed, and delivering exceptional service to both Guests and Team members. Your support helps position the restaurant as the top choice for Guests and Employees alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance sales and profitability by focusing on guest satisfaction and overseeing daily restaurant operations.
- Report any issues or suggestions involving the restaurant, staff, or Guests directly to the General Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and operational guidelines during shifts.
- Train Team Members in company operations, standards, policies, and guest service excellence.
- Address complaints and identify breaches in policy or procedure promptly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging atmosphere for both employees and Guests.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 years of managerial experience in a restaurant setting, ideally within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
- Basic arithmetic skills to support operational needs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and extended hours.
- Energetic attitude suitable for a fast-moving work environment.
