Shift Manager

About the Position

This role is for a Shift Manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s branding but is independently responsible for all employment matters including hiring, staff management, and scheduling.

Role Overview

As a Shift Manager, you will lead shifts to ensure customers have a quick, precise, and friendly experience. You will provide leadership to crew members and other managers to uphold McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily shifts effectively.
• Monitor team performance and take necessary actions to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Ensure food safety, security, and safety standards are met during shifts.
• Communicate with incoming Shift Managers for seamless shift transitions.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and daily maintenance tasks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and oversee quality food production.
• Train and coach team members to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Preferably previous leadership experience, particularly in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings.
• Must be a positive team player who is flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old to qualify as a manager within corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.

Additional Information

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour.
