About the Role
This position is for a restaurant managed by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products, operating separately from McDonald's USA, which has no control over employment decisions or processes related to this role.
As a Shift Manager, you will lead a team during shifts to guarantee customers receive a quick, accurate, and friendly service in line with McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning shifts and directing operations throughout the shift.
- Oversee and monitor team performance in real-time, taking necessary steps to maintain standards.
- Manage food safety protocols, maintain safety and security standards.
- Handle inventory control and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
- Lead, schedule, and train crew members and support other managers.
- Ensure quality food preparation and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the following Shift Manager for smooth transition and operations.
- Work towards meeting shift and departmental targets and goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous leadership experience is beneficial, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings.
- Must be at least 18 years old to manage in corporate-operated restaurants.
- Positive mindset, team-oriented, adaptable with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
