Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, customer-centric Shareholder & Customer Services Representative to join our team in Invercargill. This full-time permanent position serves as the primary contact point for Alliance's shareholders, suppliers, customers, and internal teams, offering responsive, professional, and informed support. You will collaborate closely with Livestock Representatives, Payment teams, processing sites, and other internal departments to address inquiries efficiently, maintain accurate records, and facilitate smooth service delivery within the Livestock Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inquiries from customers, shareholders, and suppliers via multiple communication methods
• Take responsibility for resolving issues and complaints until concluded
• Maintain precise records of customer and shareholder data
• Support transactions related to store stock and grazing activities
• Assist in follow-up on debtor accounts as needed
• Provide administrative support to Farm Alliance, including account setup and password management
• Serve as a key user for internal systems and processes, promoting continual improvements
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in customer service or support roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to address inquiries, complaints, and resolve conflicts confidently
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and contemporary ERP systems
• Customer-oriented approach combined with proactive problem-solving capabilities
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to new technologies and change initiatives

Preferred Additional Experience

• Background in agriculture or the red meat industry
• Understanding of sheep, beef, and lamb farming processes
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NAIT or OSPRI
• Experience managing master data for customers or suppliers
