Role Overview

This position is essential in optimizing the outbound logistics operations. The specialist will leverage data analysis, insights, and collaborative efforts to pinpoint improvement opportunities, execute strategies, and ensure logistics processes and systems uphold high standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects from ideation to execution.
• Create and sustain KPI reports and dynamic performance dashboards.
• Analyze data to detect trends, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Manage logistics-related master data, including freight routes, pricing, and system settings.
• Verify freight expenses and address any discrepancies in payments.
• Enhance process efficiency by minimizing manual tasks in logistics workflows.
• Collaborate extensively with teams in Logistics, Finance, Export Documentation, as well as carriers and service providers.
• Provide reliable operational assistance and contribute to business continuity within the broader logistics division.

The ideal candidate will possess a natural curiosity, analytical mindset, and a passion for optimizing workflows. They thrive in cross-functional environments, are skilled at translating complex data into actionable initiatives, and have a proven track record driving meaningful business changes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, finance, administration, or continuous improvement roles.
• Proficient in process improvement methodologies and process mapping.
• Advanced abilities in Excel and building reports.
• Capable of analyzing datasets and generating actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement proficiency.
• Familiarity with system administration, master data governance, or ERP platforms.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and expertise in root cause analysis.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong numerical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

A tertiary qualification in Business or a related field is considered beneficial.
