Sewing Setup Technician

Overview

This role involves configuring and sustaining sewing machines and related equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations in partnership with the manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and service sewing machines and equipment for daily use.
• Diagnose problems and perform necessary repairs on sewing machinery.
• Guarantee optimal operation and efficiency of all sewing equipment.
• Collaborate closely with production personnel to verify correct machine setups.
• Provide training to newly hired staff on the proper usage of sewing machines and tools.
• Keep the workplace tidy and adhere to safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent educational level.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a comparable capacity.
• Strong aptitude for mechanical tasks and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in repairing and maintaining sewing machines and equipment.
• Outstanding verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to instruction.
• Physical ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
