Role Overview
We are searching for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to enhance our IT Service Management (ITSM) capabilities. The key responsibilities include leading the technical design, development, and ongoing refinement of the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement ServiceNow features, workflow automations, and complex system integrations independently.
- Assess current business processes and recommend appropriate technical enhancements.
- Define project scopes and objectives with stakeholders ensuring feasibility and alignment.
- Create and maintain detailed technical, process, and project documentation.
- Deliver ongoing platform maintenance, technical support, and generate customized reports.
- Identify risks proactively and escalate critical platform issues to management.
Qualifications and Skills
- 7 to 8 years overall IT experience with at least 4 years hands-on ServiceNow development expertise.
- Proficient in building and configuring Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts in ServiceNow.
- Solid understanding of ITSM processes and industry best practices.
- Strong JavaScript programming skills, with practical knowledge of Java, HTML, and CSS.
- Experienced in developing on the ServiceNow Service Portal.
- Excellent communication skills and capability to effectively collaborate across teams.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - highly desirable.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM.
