The position is based in Doha, Qatar, and requires candidates with 5-7 or more years of professional experience.

Role Overview

We are searching for a highly proficient Odoo Developer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should possess extensive technical knowledge across the Odoo ecosystem, including expertise in backend and frontend development, automation of business processes, system integration, and ERP solution architecture. This role demands hands-on experience in tailoring Odoo implementations in key areas such as Manufacturing, Inventory & Supply Chain, Accounting & Finance, Procurement, Sales, POS, and Food & Beverage (F&B) domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and sustain Odoo modules and applications across diverse business functions.
• Create scalable solutions aligned with best practices and coding standards within the Odoo framework.
• Implement advanced business workflows, automation routines, custom reports, and integration layers.
• Customize backend and frontend elements, including OWL framework components, JavaScript, XML, and UI enhancements.
• Integrate Odoo with external services such as third-party apps, payment gateways, APIs, POS setups, and other platforms.
• Enhance system performance, optimize database operations, and ensure scalability of applications.
• Analyze technical challenges, troubleshoot complex problems, and implement robust long-term solutions.
• Participate actively in ERP deployment activities, including data migration, system upgrades, and continuous process improvements.
• Work collaboratively with functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical deliverables.

Technical Skills Required

• Expertise in Odoo framework and system architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL databases.
• Proficient in JavaScript, OWL framework, XML, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party system integrations.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments, source control via Git, containerization using Docker, and deployment methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.

Domain & Functional Knowledge

• Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
• Inventory and Warehouse Management.
• Procurement and Supply Chain operations.
• Accounting and Financial processes.
• Sales and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
• Point of Sale (POS) system expertise.
• Food & Beverage operational workflows.
• Multi-company and multi-warehouse environment management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of direct experience developing Odoo applications.
• A proven history of managing and delivering complex Odoo customizations and implementation projects.
• Preferably experience in Manufacturing, Inventory, Accounting, and Food & Beverage sectors.
• A passionate Odoo expert combining deep technical prowess with robust understanding of business processes, contributing to world-class ERP solutions aimed at growth and operational excellence.
