Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Serviceperson to join the Peak Downs Mine team in Queensland. This permanent full-time position involves servicing heavy earthmoving equipment, refuelling operations, and assisting maintenance fitters. The role supports a safe, productive work environment by maintaining high standards of workshop cleanliness and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing on heavy earthmoving machinery.
• Handle refuelling activities across the mining fleet.
• Support fitters with various maintenance tasks as needed.
• Uphold excellent housekeeping standards in the workshop and work areas.
• Conduct general workshop duties while promoting safety and productivity.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Serviceperson within an open-cut coal mining environment.
• Possession of Standard 11 qualification.
• R11SAM212E certification for servicing mine plant and equipment.
• Valid driver's license, with HR license preferred.
• Competencies in servicing mine plant and equipment.
• Background in mining, heavy earthmoving, or hydraulic excavator sectors.
• A strong orientation towards safety with a positive safety culture.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certification for Working at Heights.
• Elevating Work Platform (EWP) High Risk License.
• Forklift High Risk License.
• Confined Space certification.
• Franna crane operation license.

Additional Information

The role follows a 7 days on / 7 days off roster with even time shifts at Peak Downs Mine, Queensland.
