About the Role

The Service Leader plays a pivotal role in upholding this mission by ensuring excellent customer experiences through quality food preparation, service, and team support at the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to and enforce Chipotle’s established policies and procedures.
- Guarantee the delivery of delicious and high-quality food to customers.
- Address and resolve any food quality concerns promptly.
- Ensure strict food safety compliance, including proper hand washing, glove changes, monitoring temperatures and secondary shelf lives, and completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist.
- Manage resolution of customer incidents to foster positive experiences.
- Oversee crew breaks, shift transitions, meetings, and line scheduling.
- Facilitate development and cross-training of front-of-house staff.
- Participate in conducting crew performance evaluations.
- Mentor and cultivate future leaders within the service team.
- Support administrative office tasks such as banking, cash management, and paperwork organization.
- Maintain the functionality of office equipment and manage supply inventories.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong understanding and ability to convey Chipotle’s "Food With Integrity" philosophy.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and policies.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.
- Competency with office documentation and administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) used at the location.
- A minimum of a high school diploma.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant environment.
- Availability to work at least four days a week, including two days among Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, with the flexibility for any eight-hour shifts on those days.
- Capacity to work a minimum of 32 hours weekly.
