Job description
Role Overview
The Service Associate will manage hospital bed allocations efficiently within the system, adhering strictly to established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This position requires active coordination with various departments to maintain up-to-date information on bed availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute bed allocation tasks accurately using internal systems, ensuring compliance with KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with multiple departments to update and verify the status of bed availability.
- Monitor and manage the allocation of beds continuously to meet hospital demands.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and provide follow-up assistance regarding bed requests.
- Support the preparation of hospital bed census data and generate reports as necessary.
- Perform other administrative tasks within the department as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of GCE N Levels backed by at least one year of customer service experience.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including internet navigation, email correspondence, and Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable liaising with staff across various hierarchical levels.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift system covering three shifts, inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
