Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service to guests.
• Set up and maintain restaurant and lounge areas according to hotel standards.
• Manage trays, trolleys, china, glassware, and other service equipment effectively.
• Work in close coordination with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Have thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and service protocols.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including stock and inventory control.
• Keep the outlet clean, organized, and ready to welcome guests at all times.
• Encourage upselling of food and beverage items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Provide assistance across different hotel departments as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage service within a 5-star hotel environment, preferably with experience in a poolside bar or lounge.
• Possession of a degree or diploma from a reputable Hotel School or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• A positive attitude combined with strong organizational skills enabling efficient work in fast-paced settings.
• Demonstrated exceptional guest service and upselling capabilities.
• Additional certifications such as HACCP and WSET Level 1 or their equivalents are advantageous.
