Server Engineer

About the Role

Ideal Coffee Machines is hiring a Coffee Machine Technician based in Bangalore, specializing in the practical installation and maintenance of commercial coffee equipment such as espresso machines. The role demands hands-on expertise with coffee machines, ensuring customer machines are properly installed, serviced, and repaired promptly.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial coffee machines at client locations.
• Identify and repair issues involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and technical components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of machines.
• Address malfunctioning components including boilers, pumps, valves, heating elements, PCBs, grinders, among others.
• Respond to customer service calls throughout Bangalore promptly.
• Document service activity with accurate reports and maintain clear communication with the service team.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely, efficient manner.
• Provide customers with basic instructions for usage and upkeep of their coffee machines.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge related to coffee machines preferred; exposure to espresso machines, vending, or similar electromechanical devices is advantageous.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Comfortable working in the field and traveling within Bangalore city limits.
• Education such as ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Refrigeration disciplines is preferred.
• Demonstrated responsibility, punctuality, and customer-oriented approach.
• 1 to 5 years experience in relevant technical or service roles is desirable.

Compensation

The monthly remuneration for this position ranges between 25,000 and 40,000 INR.
