Senior/Associate Building Surveyor

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join a growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in Exeter. Key Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of professional and project-related building surveying services.
• Conduct comprehensive building and condition surveys, including defect analysis.
• Prepare detailed specifications and oversee refurbishment, repair, and enhancement projects.
• Manage contract administration and project delivery aspects.
• Advise clients on matters such as dilapidations and party wall issues.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing business.
• Participate in business development efforts to expand building surveying services throughout the South West.
• Mentor junior team members to foster development and knowledge sharing.
• Assume increasing responsibilities aligned with the growth of the Exeter office.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Building Surveying or a closely related field.
• MRICS accreditation preferred or strong progression towards achieving Chartership.
• Extensive experience across various building surveying projects and professional duties.
• Demonstrated client-facing capabilities and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently manage workloads and nurture client relationships.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to and growing within a developing regional team.
