NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Verification Engineer to validate the design and implementation of next-generation PCI Express controllers integrated within leading GPUs and SoCs. Key Responsibilities

• Lead verification efforts for ASIC design, architecture, golden models, and micro-architecture of PCIe controllers at IP and subsystem levels using advanced methodologies such as UVM.
• Develop reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards consistent with coverage-driven verification strategies.
• Analyze specifications and implementations to define verification scope, devise comprehensive test plans, tests, and infrastructure to ensure design correctness.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams to drive verification tasks to completion.

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Tech degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hardware verification.
• Proficient in verification at unit, subsystem, and SoC levels with expertise in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Strong experience in verifying IP blocks or interconnect protocols, such as PCI Express, USB, or SATA.
• Skilled in building constrained random verification environments focusing on functional coverage.
• Familiarity with Verification methodologies like UVM and VMM and industry-standard simulation and debugging tools.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• In-depth knowledge of PCI Express protocol (Gen3 and above).
• Understanding of system-level architecture for PCIe and CXL-based designs.
• Programming proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to effective teamwork.
