Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer based in Kallang, Singapore, to join our dynamic teams that create outstanding products and drive our expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee electronic engineering professionals in the design and fabrication of testing and test control devices, as well as software and system testing operations.
- Manage electronic engineering tasks related to developing, procuring, installing, calibrating, and maintaining instruments and control devices essential for testing and data collection.
- Establish the specific conditions for conducting tests along with organizing the sequence and stages of testing procedures.
- Execute and support validation for test systems, equipment, and process setups.
- Collaborate with scientific, engineering, and technical teams to troubleshoot testing challenges such as malfunctions, incomplete data, or coding and interpretation issues.
- Analyze test results and prepare technical documentation for use by engineering and management teams.
- Develop or utilize software and hardware tools to conduct tests on electronic products, systems, or software.
- Train and guide support staff, test technicians, and operators on test equipment, software, and effective troubleshooting methods.
- Address test yield issues by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and tracking improvements.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of test equipment as needed.
- Promote workplace safety, health, and environmental protection by complying with company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and participating in EHS initiatives.
- Engage in and uphold Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) policies and programs.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Technical expertise in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and/or system box build processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting 2D component drawings and schematics.
- Computer literacy with tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
- Basic familiarity with CAD systems.
- Strong technical and commercial communication abilities coupled with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to thrive in customer-focused environments and collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
