About the Role
Join Flex, a global leader in manufacturing, as a Senior PCB Layout Engineer in Kallang, Singapore. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the Research and Development team to design, develop, evaluate, and modify printed circuit boards (PCBs) powering various wattage applications.
- Design PCB layouts for high power systems utilizing PADS software.
- Conduct librarian duties, including creating PCB and schematic symbols aligned with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) standards.
- Generate and maintain GERBER files, PCB specifications for all layers, and PCB films required for fabrication purposes.
- Collaborate across electrical design, mechanical design, testing, safety, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure manufacturability and quality standards are met.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Power Electrical Engineering or related electrical/automation disciplines.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in PCB layout design, particularly for power supplies in sectors such as Telecom, Server, and On-Board Chargers (OBC).
- Proficient in PCB layout creation using PADS software.
- Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes aiming for optimized, cost-effective designs with high attention to layout challenges, EMI performance, manufacturability, and adherence to safety standards.
- Highly self-driven, passionate about work, and capable of effective teamwork.
