Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technician in Maintenance with solid technical expertise to oversee maintenance activities, coordinate equipment servicing, and help maintain smooth daily operations within our facilities and technical settings. This role provides an exciting opportunity for professionals specializing in maintenance, facilities, engineering, or technical services who want to embrace a broader technical responsibility in a fully remote international working environment.

Key Duties

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on various equipment and building infrastructure.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and technical faults.
• Collaborate with teams across Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities Operations, Technical Services, Safety, and Operations departments.
• Organize maintenance schedules and manage equipment servicing tasks.
• Oversee equipment performance and suggest improvements in maintenance approaches.
• Keep detailed maintenance records, service documentation, and technical reports.
• Assist with inspections and routine equipment evaluations.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintenance quality standards.
• Address technical breakdowns and operational challenges to maintain uptime.
• Support spare parts management and inventory coordination.
• Drive reliability initiatives and continuous enhancements in maintenance operations.
• Contribute to technical projects and upgrades of equipment.
• Mentor less experienced technicians when required.
• Keep updated on new maintenance technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of three years' experience in maintenance, facilities management, engineering, or similar technical roles.
• A sound understanding of both preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient written and spoken English communication abilities.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), maintenance management software, or Microsoft Office is beneficial.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical networks, mechanical equipment, plumbing, or building services is advantageous.
• Capability to operate independently while collaborating with international teams.
• Prior experience in UAE or GCC maintenance sectors is a plus but not essential.
• Possession of relevant technical licenses or maintenance certifications is welcomed but not mandatory.
