Role Summary

This Senior Technical Product Manager role leads the product vision and development for the core Data Connectivity technical foundations. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with engineers to translate technical innovations into reliable, reusable capabilities spanning SDKs, APIs, engines, and services across products and deployment models, with a particular focus on evolving these for AI integration and advanced automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for Data Connectivity engines, SDKs, APIs, shared services, and foundational infrastructure.
• Convert customer, product, and internal developer needs into well-defined technical product requirements and priorities.
• Transform new technologies and capabilities into stable, reusable components accessible by downstream products and integrations.
• Enhance SDKs and APIs emphasizing usability, stability, extensibility, backward compatibility, and developer experience.
• Work with Engineering leadership to streamline architecture, eliminate redundancy, manage dependencies, and maximize cross-product leverage.
• Innovate the evolution of Data Connectivity for AI-enabled workflows and explore high-impact AI applications in developer tooling, software delivery, testing, automation, observability, and operations.
• Oversee shared services such as authentication, configuration, observability, usage tracking, reliability, and deployment mechanisms.
• Balance investments across new features, scalability, reliability, security, modernization, AI capability enablement, and existing customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Security, Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure adherence to privacy and security standards.
• Define measurable metrics to evaluate investments, including reliability, performance, developer efficiency, reuse, and delivery velocity.
• Assess readiness of emerging innovations for production rollout, providing product guidance while leaving implementation and architecture decisions to Engineering.
• Contribute to broader Data Connectivity strategy and technical foundation roadmap as the portfolio expands.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Engineering, or an equivalent technical product role with ownership of complex technical products.
• Proficient technical understanding to engage with engineering teams on APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, services, infrastructure, data architecture, and system design.
• Experience managing SDKs, APIs, developer tools, shared services, infrastructure, or reusable technical products for developer or product team audiences.
• Systems thinker who grasps interdependencies within technical ecosystems impacting products and users.
• Inquisitive and pragmatic about AI technologies, actively using and evaluating AI tools, understanding their potential to improve products and engineering processes, and distinguishing lasting value.
• Clear understanding of product-engineering dynamics: articulates problems, outcomes, priorities, and tradeoffs while collaborating on technical solutions.
• Exceptional at simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences including non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly organized and adept at navigating ambiguity with the ability to bring structure and advance complex projects involving multiple dependencies and evolving requirements.
• Proactive, independent decision-maker with sound judgment despite incomplete information.
• Committed to quality, reliability, security, and maintainability beyond merely delivering new features.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Previous experience in hands-on technical roles such as software engineer, data engineer, or solutions architect.
• Background in building AI-driven technical products or applying AI in developer workflows, software testing, observability, automation, or operations.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability, authentication/authorization systems, or infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with data-sensitive or privacy-centric products, especially in healthcare or life sciences sectors.
• Knowledge of cryptography, identity resolution, privacy-preserving technologies, or healthcare data connectivity.
• Experience modernizing complex systems while maintaining backward compatibility and supporting existing customers.
