Senior Technical Executive - Civil & Structural BIM

Role Overview

As a Senior Technical Executive specializing in Civil & Structural (C&S) disciplines, you will lead Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities, coordinating model development and design alignment throughout projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate BIM models specific to Civil & Structural engineering design disciplines.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and BIM managers to ensure projects are completed within established timelines.
• Develop BIM models using initial sketches, CAD drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Generate 2D BIM documentation adhering to organizational and project BIM standards.
• Update BIM models consistently with the latest information, guaranteeing high-quality deliverables.
• Verify the accuracy of construction documents derived from updated BIM models of interdisciplinary inputs.
• Prepare drawings necessary for authority submissions.
• Coordinate with other disciplines regarding design modifications and resolve challenges relating to BIM models.
• Follow the Project BIM Execution Plan along with BIM workflow requirements rigorously.
• Ensure compliance with organizational BIM content standards and development protocols.
• Prepare discipline-specific models and content for BIM Coordination meetings.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent qualifications such as an ITE drafting certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience actively engaged in BIM project implementation.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM tools, especially Autodesk Revit.
• Adept team player who is self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks in dynamic environments.
• Good organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and effective communication capabilities.
