About the Role
This position is for a Senior Talent Partner specializing in technology who will spearhead the hiring strategies and execution for key organizational teams. This role extends beyond traditional recruitment; it is a critical business collaboration involving close partnership with leadership to define hiring objectives, enhance recruitment quality, and develop scalable talent acquisition frameworks. The incumbent will manage the entire hiring process — identifying workforce gaps, creating talent pipelines, influencing recruitment decisions, and ensuring the consistent hiring of superior talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of hiring outcomes for Engineering, Product, and Design departments, encompassing roles like Backend, Frontend, Mobile, SDET, and Security across various seniority levels.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and executives, guiding recruitment planning and decisions.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for diverse positions.
- Develop and implement long-term talent acquisition strategies that align with business objectives.
- Enhance hiring standards through improving interview quality, training panelists, and ensuring uniform evaluation criteria.
- Create and execute structured and scalable hiring workflows for continual organizational growth.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics such as funnel conversion rates, turnaround time, sourcing effectiveness, and quality of hires, transforming insights into actionable strategies.
- Address talent pipeline shortages with innovative sourcing techniques and market research.
- Provide candidates with a personalized, engaging recruitment experience to boost conversion rates.
- Minimize reliance on external recruitment vendors by strengthening internal sourcing capabilities.
- Coach and mentor interviewers to ensure alignment in hiring standards and quality decisions.
- Constantly enhance recruitment practices via experimentation, feedback, and data analytics.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and integrate industry best practices to improve talent acquisition.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least four years of experience recruiting tech talent in fast-paced startup or product company environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of technology roles recruitment, inclusive of senior and leadership positions.
- Proven competency in collaborating with senior leadership and influencing critical hiring decisions.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategizing recruitment processes beyond mere execution.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort handling recruitment metrics, dashboards, and deriving insights.
- Experience in enhancing interview quality and calibrating panels for consistent evaluation.
- Hands-on knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Excellent skills in managing stakeholders and communicating effectively.
- Capability to thrive in high-ownership, dynamic, and fast-moving environments.
- A proactive mindset focused on problem-solving and raising recruitment standards.
