Role Overview
The position of Field Collections Executive entails managing delinquent customer accounts by performing field visits and engaging effectively with customers to secure timely repayments. This involves overseeing collections across various financial products and meeting assigned targets for recovery and collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly visit customers in the field to follow up on payments and gather collections.
- Manage accounts with overdue payments, ensuring prompt recovery of outstanding amounts.
- Handle collections spanning multiple types of financial products.
- Achieve monthly targets set for collection and recovery.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers via phone calls and on-site visits.
- Understand customer issues and negotiate repayment plans aligned with company policies.
- Monitor Promise to Pay (PTP) commitments and conduct timely follow-ups.
- Accurately document collection activities, customer interactions, and payment information in the system.
- Recognize high-risk or challenging accounts and escalate cases as necessary.
- Uphold professionalism during customer interactions and comply with collection policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the collections team and supervisors to enhance portfolio performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience of 1 to 4 years in field collections.
- Preference for candidates with prior exposure to collections involving multiple financial products.
- Good knowledge of local geography and readiness for extensive travel within the designated area.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong self-motivation.
- Comfortable conducting fieldwork and frequent customer visits.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and CRM or collection software applications.
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler vehicle and driving license is advantageous.
