Job description

About the Role

This permanent position in Melbourne or Sydney provides a unique chance to engage in both hands-on recruitment across senior, technical, and corporate roles, and leadership development through coaching and stakeholder management. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you'll be entrusted with complete responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process at ADP.

Company Overview

ADP Consulting is a sustainability-focused engineering consultancy with over 350 employees in Australia and London, working on important, mission-critical projects for clients such as data center operators, property developers, and government organizations. Since joining Ayesa — a global technology and engineering group — ADP has expanded its international growth opportunities for employees.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment process (~80%) for senior, technical, and corporate positions.
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, headhunting, market mapping, and engagement with passive candidates.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, offer market insights, and support hiring decisions.
  • Ensure excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Apply leadership skills (~20%) to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Coach hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, selection processes, and bias reduction.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within engineering, consulting, or technical fields.
  • Proven track record in building talent pipelines for technical roles with credible understanding of engineering and related professions.
  • Motivated to develop leadership capabilities.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments where influencing processes is valued over merely executing them.
  • Skilled at respectfully challenging hiring managers, maintaining standards for candidate shortlists, and confidently securing senior hires.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR Information Systems; experience with JobAdder is an advantage.

Employee Development and Culture

ADP offers structured career advancement opportunities starting from graduate programs through to director roles. Support for professional memberships, accreditations, and leadership training is provided. The role offers interactions with senior leaders and access to Ayesa’s global network for substantial career growth.

ADP fosters an inclusive culture valuing diversity and equity. Initiatives include family-friendly policies, Women @ ADP group, LGBTIQA+ advocacy, and inclusive design practices.

Well-being is prioritized via flexible work policies accommodating team members’ unique needs, lifestyle programs such as Pilates and CrossFit, social events, and special leave options like Pet Leave, Grandparent Leave, and Volunteer Leave.
