Role Overview

We seek skilled Mid-Level and Senior Cisco Compute & Virtualisation Engineers passionate about enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, and data center technologies. This role involves working with advanced infrastructure components like Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, Intersight, VMware vSphere, and hybrid data center platforms to support enterprise and service provider customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and provide ongoing support for Cisco UCS (B-Series, C-Series, X-Series) platforms via UCS Manager and Intersight tools.
• Oversee and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter management, ESXi hosts, HA/DRS configuration, and virtual networking capabilities.
• Administer and support HyperFlex clusters and associated data center compute solutions.
• Manage administrative tasks for Windows Server and Linux systems across enterprise infrastructure.
• Handle storage access and integration protocols such as SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and Cisco MDS switches.
• Conduct system upgrades, apply patches, perform routine maintenance, and resolve technical incidents.
• Support and maintain backup systems, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity processes.
• Generate detailed technical documentation including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), operational runbooks, and as-built records.
• Senior engineer responsibilities encompass leading compute architecture design, overseeing data center migrations, planning capacity, steering automation projects, enforcing governance policies, and mentoring junior team members.
