Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our high-performing team based in Sydney, reporting to the NSW Survey Manager. This position involves working on complex, large-scale survey projects spanning construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors for government and major private clients across New South Wales and interstate. The role combines fieldwork with office duties, applying technical expertise to produce precise and punctual surveying outputs using advanced capture technologies like terrestrial and mobile laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry, and hydrographic surveying.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years’ experience in surveying.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or comparable software.
- Experience operating Leica instruments is highly valued.
- Familiarity with 12d Model and 12d Field software is advantageous.
- A motivated professional who thrives on diverse tasks both onsite and in the office.
- Detail-focused with experience in civil engineering, construction, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering high-quality results for clients and colleagues.
- Dedicated to safety and environmentally sustainable work practices.
- Organized individual capable of managing administrative tasks including QA records, timesheets, and project documentation.
- Confidence in contributing to tender preparations, quotations, and client negotiations.
