Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Riyadh office. The role involves contributing to the design of diverse, prestigious structural projects locally and internationally. Working alongside experienced engineers and CAD technicians, and collaborating across multiple disciplines, you will prepare detailed structural calculations spanning various materials using relevant software.

This role spans sectors including Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Critical Systems. Over time, you will be supported to gain more responsibility and autonomy, advancing your career towards Chartership.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

The candidate will generate structural calculations, design reports, and work creatively with materials such as steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry. Proficiency with design and modeling packages like Etabs, Safe, SAP, Robot, Prokon, and Staad Pro is essential. Experience with Revit is also required, and familiarity with parametric design tools would be advantageous.

A strong understanding of Saudi Arabia and UAE building codes as well as international standards is important. Communication skills and initiative to solve challenges independently or within multidisciplinary teams are vital.

Requirements

• Chartered engineer or actively pursuing MIStructE accreditation.
• 7 to 10 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering within consultancy.
• Proficiency in key structural design software including Etabs, Safe, SAP, Robot, Prokon, Staad Pro, and Revit.
• Understanding of structural analysis, design reporting, and multiple material applications.
• Knowledge of KSA/UAE and international building regulations.
• Ability to function effectively both individually and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of parametric design and related software is a plus.
