Senior Specialist Middleware Services

Job Summary

This role involves supporting, configuring, and maintaining middleware platforms and integration services to enable stable and efficient communication among enterprise applications. The position focuses on ensuring dependable middleware operations by handling installation, updates, monitoring, troubleshooting, security compliance, and thorough documentation. It also demands delivering robust integration solutions across diverse IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain middleware software solutions including Microsoft integration platforms like BizTalk Server, Azure Integration Services, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid, as well as .NET applications to guarantee optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
• Perform regular updates and patches to keep middleware software current.
• Architect, develop, and configure middleware integration solutions spanning multiple platforms and enterprise systems such as SharePoint and Azure API Management.
• Ensure smooth integration and data exchange among various applications.
• Monitor system metrics and logs to identify potential issues proactively and conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve integration challenges.
• Implement security strategies to safeguard middleware environments, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards concerning security, resiliency, and compliance.
• Manage automated deployment, failover, and backup mechanisms for middleware services to enhance resiliency.
• Collaborate with IT, business, development, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective integration solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation such as topology diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
• Update soft and technical skills pertinent to the role continuously.
• Execute planned tasks to fulfill development and operational goals within scheduled timelines, using available resources efficiently.
• Report periodically on task progress, deviations, and execution.
• Address operational problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Ensure high-quality standards throughout development and process operations, including quality control and specification adherence.
• Contribute to business process improvements by enhancing systems, policies, procedures, and pursuing automation opportunities.
• Comply rigorously with company policies, procedures, work instructions, and relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards within the work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management Sciences & Systems or an equivalent field.
• Between 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong technical and functional knowledge encompassing application development standards and procedures, system analysis and design, HRIS payroll systems, and joint application development.
