Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Specialist in English Content Development based in Qatar. This role suits native English storytellers skilled at crafting diverse communications. The person will create compelling content spanning corporate communications, creative campaigns, video scripts, event materials, and more, while ensuring impeccable editorial quality and alignment with strategic brand messaging.
Responsibilities
- Write various content types such as website copy, corporate publications including annual reports, marketing and campaign assets, and internal/external communications.
- Lead creative content projects including naming and positioning initiatives, campaign storytelling, video scripts, event MC scripts and other event-related materials.
- Edit and proofread content from both internal teams and external contributors, guaranteeing accuracy and clarity.
- Ensure all content maintains consistent brand voice, messaging frameworks, and aligns with strategic goals.
- Translate complex information into clear, engaging narratives targeted to diverse audiences.
- Manage several projects at once, prioritizing tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to understand needs and deliver superior content solutions.
Qualifications
- Native English speaker with outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
- At least five years of professional experience in content development, copywriting, journalism, communications, or related areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, English, Arts, or similar fields.
- Proven ability producing both corporate and creatively driven content.
- Strong conceptual thinking with skills to develop fresh ideas, narratives, and messaging strategies.
- Keen attention to detail alongside a strong commitment to content quality.
- Experience managing high volumes of requests, ensuring precision and timely delivery.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in corporate, government, or institutional settings is a plus.
