Role Overview

This full-time, permanent role based in Auckland (also open to candidates in Christchurch and Wellington) invites skilled professionals to join Chorus during its ambitious phase aiming for 80% fibre uptake nationwide by 2030. As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be pivotal in crafting innovative solutions incorporating connectivity, infrastructure, data centres, and emerging technologies, partnering with major organisations and technology leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology conversations and design tailored connections and infrastructure solutions that create tangible business value.
• Translate technical possibilities into strategic business outcomes, influencing customer strategy beyond just product recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales, product, planning, and delivery teams to implement comprehensive solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Engage stakeholders across all levels, from engineers to executives, serving as a trusted technical expert and strategic consultant.
• Support digital transformation efforts, including data centre expansion, AI, cloud integration, and IoT innovations.

Candidate Profile and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in solutions consulting, technical sales, pre-sales, or solution architecture within telecommunications, technology, or related infrastructure sectors.
• In-depth understanding of networking, fibre connectivity, data centre technology, cloud services, or adjacent fields.
• Skilled in converting intricate technical concepts into straightforward, compelling business benefits.
• Experience creating bespoke solutions and persuasive customer proposals that secure new business.
• Proven ability to build and nurture trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at various organisational levels.
• Strong commercial insight focused on driving both customer value and company revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, confident in leading technical and strategic dialogues.
• Collaborative mindset, adept at working across departments to realize solutions effectively.
