Join Asana as a Senior Solutions Architect within our Solutions Center of Excellence, where you’ll play a pivotal strategic and technical role in navigating our most advanced enterprise sales engagements. As a subject matter expert in Asana’s API, AI, and platform ecosystem, you will empower both global teams and clients by demonstrating the capabilities and transformative potential of our platform.

This position primarily involves managing large-scale, intricate technical projects for strategic customers, helping to shape product trajectories and customer technology frameworks. The role emphasizes evolving beyond immediate technical problem-solving to constructing scalable architectural foundations that optimize work orchestration.

Based in the Dublin office, this role adheres to a hybrid work schedule, with in-office presence required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; flexible remote work policies apply on other days depending on the type of work and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to craft innovative, integrated solutions that revolutionize customer workflows and foster strategic growth among Tier 1 clients.
• Lead the development and implementation of technical proofs-of-concept (POCs) and minimum viable products (MVPs) that evidence Asana's platform value.
• Advance the skills of the wider Solutions team through the creation of technical documentation, reusable demo content, and training for low-code or non-code technical tasks.
• Act as an essential liaison to R&D, conveying insights from international enterprise interactions to influence the evolution of Asana’s API and AI features.
• Design architectural frameworks and workflow schematics demonstrating Asana’s integration capabilities within diverse client technology environments.
• Identify common technical solution patterns and develop them into reusable global resources such as scripting libraries or workflow templates to promote self-service across sales and revenue teams.
• Collaborate directly with Product Management and Engineering teams to drive platform strategy and roadmaps based on identified needs and gaps.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 6 to 10+ years’ experience in customer-centric technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Architecture, or Consulting.
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders end-to-end or establishing technical programs from inception.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Node.js and experience in building custom integrations using REST APIs and serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambda.
• Ability to anticipate technical challenges and communicate complex initiatives effectively across multidisciplinary teams to secure consensus.
• A self-motivated individual who thrives in dynamic environments and assumes full responsibility for project outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills capable of presenting visionary future states to executive leadership, focusing on value-based solutions beyond standard feature demonstrations.
• Ability to influence across global regions without direct authority and adapt best practices to regional requirements.
• Keen interest in emerging technologies, especially AI and large language models, with enthusiasm to apply them for enhancing operational productivity.
• Experienced in aligning marketing, business, and product teams to deliver unified, impactful solutions.
• Leadership skills including mentoring junior colleagues and delegating tasks effectively.
• Deep understanding of software procurement, SaaS purchasing behaviors, and enterprise sales cycles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the work management sector and how it integrates with enterprise ecosystems such as CRM, iPaaS, and cloud hosting services.

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated base salary for this role ranges from $155,000 to $175,000, subject to market conditions and individual qualifications assessed during recruitment. Compensation will also include equity, performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
