Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer to join our Trust & Safety team and lead the development of a new in-house Risk Evaluation Platform. This critical system will support multiple business units by making real-time decisions regarding customers and related events. As one of two senior engineers on this project, you will work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect and design the in-house fraud evaluation platform tailored to internal requirements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and refine platform components.
• Translate business use cases and stakeholder requirements into clear, comprehensive technical documentation.
• Review design documents submitted by team members to ensure architectural integrity.
• Manage monitoring systems and alerting mechanisms for new platform services.
• Lead the implementation of complex full-stack initiatives related to the Risk Evaluation Platform.

Required Skills & Experience

• More than 7 years of professional experience in software development with a strong full-stack web application background.
• Expertise in backend development using NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks, including API design, database integration, and distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and React for client and server-side development.
• In-depth knowledge of full-stack web architecture, including client optimization, server performance, RESTful APIs, database schemas, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
• Practical experience developing and deploying Node.js full-stack services.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to improve development speed and quality.
• Some background in Python and Django backend development is a plus.
