Role Overview

We are growing our engineering department and searching for a Senior Backend Software Engineer passionate about crafting resilient, scalable backend systems. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that underpin our platforms, ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and secure. The role demands close cooperation with product managers, engineers, and operations teams to produce high-quality solutions that enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET, and React frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and design to deliver impactful features.
• Participate in architectural decision-making to evolve a robust microservices ecosystem.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, rigorous testing, and comprehensive documentation.
• Support DevOps processes, manage CI/CD pipelines, and work with Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and mentorship to foster team growth.
• Approach work with a user-centric mindset and a strong desire for continuous learning.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over six years of experience developing software using C# and .NET technologies.
• At least three years of experience with React or comparable front-end frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and designing event-driven microservices architectures.
• Practical experience working with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Octopus Deploy.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality through effective testing and dependable software delivery.
• Effective communication skills, openness to sharing ideas, and comfort working in cross-disciplinary teams.
• A prioritization of problem-solving aptitude and critical thinking over formal credentials.
