- Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into technical solutions and work across engineering teams for smooth integration.
- Diagnose complex production issues and performance obstacles; produce comprehensive failure and root cause analyses to boost system resilience.
- Conduct backend design sessions and code reviews, fostering engineering excellence and providing guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in production software development.
- Expert-level knowledge in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot) for building enterprise microservices.
- Professional experience writing scalable backend code in TypeScript (Node.js ecosystem).
- Strong expertise with containerization, orchestration, and IaC tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience designing and operating high-availability services on cloud platforms like GCP and/or AWS.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery, with a collaborative work approach.
Preferred Skills and Learning Opportunities
- Hands-on experience with WebRTC and media streaming backend services or audio/video protocols.
- Basic comprehension of C++.
- Familiarity with SIP and RTP protocols.
- Understanding of Session Border Controllers (SBC), Media conference servers, and Selective Forwarding Units (SFU).

- Annual base salary ranging between £55,000 and £65,000.
- Bonus plan included.
- Regionally competitive benefits tailored for local needs.
- Build Your Own Benefits (BYOB) program.
- Local events, team-building activities, and opportunities for professional growth.
