Role Overview

We seek an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java backend development to join our Hyderabad team. The role requires expertise in modern Java technologies and cloud environments, with a particular focus on payment systems and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, maintainable Java applications using Java 11 or higher, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Design, code, test, and implement efficient backend services following industry best standards.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based deployments primarily on Amazon Web Services.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, and DynamoDB for data persistence solutions.
• Utilize Kafka for messaging, Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Apply strong understanding of data structures, concurrent programming, and distributed systems to solve complex technical problems.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum processes collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers ensuring knowledge sharing and code quality.
• Continuously research and implement the latest technologies to improve system performance and reliability.
• Specifically contribute domain expertise in Payment technologies and cryptographic security including symmetric and asymmetric key management, certificate handling, TR-31 key blocks, and mutual TLS (mTLS) protocols.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience specializing in Java backend development.
• Proficiency with Java 11+ and the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, and DynamoDB.
• Knowledge and practical skills in Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD methodology.
• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, multithreading, and distributed systems architectures.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and driving software engineering best practices.
• Expertise in Payment domain security concepts and cryptographic techniques as listed.
