Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are collaborating with a quantitative trading firm to enhance and optimize their live trading infrastructure that operates across various exchanges. This role requires close teamwork with trading and research personnel to test live protocols and data feeds, boost execution performance, and increase fill rates in real trading environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine C++ trading systems functioning in live market conditions.
• Interface directly with exchange protocols and market data feeds.
• Conduct production testing aimed at analyzing latency, execution efficiency, and fill rate improvements.
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks spanning software and hardware layers.
• Assess CPU, memory, networking, and hardware setups to optimize for latency-sensitive requirements.
• Create low-latency inference solutions adaptable across varying hardware platforms.
• Collaborate closely with researchers and trading teams to translate performance enhancements into superior execution outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in C++ development.
• Proficient in modern C++ standards, particularly C++17 and newer.
• Comprehensive understanding of Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and performance tuning.
• Experience with complex, high-load software systems.
• Strong skills in algorithms and data structures critical to system optimization.
