Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale the critical components of our Data Observability suite. This role involves collaboration with the frontend and product teams to build a dependable and scalable backend platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and enhance essential product features to improve functionality and reliability.
• Diagnose software issues, apply fixes, and ensure optimal performance across systems.
• Analyze and optimize open-source data engine components for better throughput and scalability.
• Design, implement, and sustain low-latency APIs to support various services.
• Create backend services consumed by frontend interfaces and solution engineers.
• Participate actively in team discussions for project planning, problem-solving, and innovation.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 4 to 8 years of professional experience working with JVM-based languages such as Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
• Strong command over data structures, algorithm design, and critical problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on experience with multiple database technologies including relational databases, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and their services.
• Understanding of distributed systems, enterprise software architecture, and SQL querying.

Additional Advantages

• Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka technologies.
• Background or exposure to data quality and data catalog solutions is a plus.
