Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, scaling, and maintaining the essential functionalities of our Data Observability suite. Collaborating with the frontend and product teams, you will help deliver a dependable and scalable platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and scale critical features of the product.
- Analyze and resolve software issues to improve performance.
- Engage deeply with open-source data engines to optimize their efficiency.
- Design and maintain low-latency APIs.
- Develop backend services consumable by frontend and solution engineers.
- Participate in team meetings to brainstorm, progress projects, and resolve challenges.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 4 to 8 years of experience working with JVM languages such as Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced with database systems, including RDBMS, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
- Familiar with cloud computing technologies.
- Knowledgeable about distributed systems, enterprise software architecture, and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka is advantageous.
- Background in Data Quality or Data Catalog domains is a plus.
