Senior Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to join our talented engineering team. The role requires developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust software applications that are scalable and aligned with business objectives, while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver dependable digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design scalable, high-performance software solutions with clear, maintainable code according to business needs.
• Conduct application testing, identify and resolve technical issues, debug code, and engage in peer code reviews to uphold engineering quality standards.
• Create, integrate, and manage resilient RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Analyze system bottlenecks and optimize software for improved performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX Design, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document system architecture and adhere to current technologies and industry-standard practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Between 3 to 5 years of proven software development experience.
• Expertise in at least one major programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of both relational and non-relational database systems.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs.
• Proficiency with version control platforms such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in algorithms and problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within teams.
