General Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our team based in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open exclusively to Saudi nationals with 3 to 5 years of professional background in accounting or auditing, preferably within the hospitality industry. The candidate should possess a solid understanding of hotel accounting systems and financial management practices.

Key Duties

• Conduct audits and review daily revenue figures, compiling daily revenue reports.
• Examine operating accounts along with various financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Generate monthly financial statements for management review.
• Assess supplier and customer accounts, including reconciliation of bank statements.
• Track hotel operating expenses with particular attention to Food & Beverage cost controls.
• Oversee inventory levels and prepare comprehensive cost and financial analysis reports.
• Maintain precise financial records and uphold quality in accounting transactions.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of accounting or auditing experience, preferably in the hotel sector.
• Familiarity with hotel-specific accounting software and financial operations is advantageous.
• Intermediate proficiency in both written and verbal English communications.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
• Thorough understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting procedures.
• Preference given to candidates currently residing in Madinah.
