About the Role

Tanda, a self-funded technology firm with a decade-long customer-backed history, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Team based in Brisbane. You will contribute to our Workforce Management, HR, and Payroll software products, releasing more than 30 updates daily. Work Environment and Technologies

Our backend is a Ruby on Rails monolithic application hosted on AWS EC2 and RDS PostgreSQL. Looking ahead to 2026, we aim to expand our product offerings and customer base, encouraging engineers to integrate AI and experiment with new tools.

Onboarding and Growth

During your initial six months, you will collaborate closely with product and engineering leads to understand the product and codebase, aligning on priorities and pace. Subsequently, you will join a product squad to enhance team expertise and delivery velocity.

Candidate Profile

You bring significant Ruby on Rails experience or competency with similar MVC frameworks like Laravel, swiftly adapting to Rails. You value clean, pragmatic coding and have a proven track record as a senior engineer capable of taking ownership and leading by example while prioritizing customer needs.
