Role Overview
The Senior Software Development Manager will spearhead the engineering team responsible for advancing the NHI Governance domain within the Pathfinder product suite. This includes designing and delivering a new platform-native module along with scalable, secure, and extensible services that support our SaaS solutions. The focus is on helping customers detect, evaluate, and address non-human identities such as service accounts, workload identities, secrets, keys, and AI agents across cloud and on-premises environments. This role combines leadership, delivery accountability, and technical acumen to set high standards for execution quality, foster engineer growth, and collaborate closely with product, design, and platform teams to resolve intricate identity and security challenges at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering teams developing cloud-based or SaaS products.
- Engage effectively in architectural decisions, design discussions, and code-level trade-offs based on strong technical expertise.
- Oversee adoption and responsible use of AI-assisted agentic development tools like Claude Code within teams.
- Deliver complex projects reliably and maintain a high-quality standard.
- Collaborate with product and design teams within an agile development framework.
- Leverage knowledge of modern cloud-native development, microservices, and public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Develop engineering talent through mentorship and coaching.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to clarify direction amid uncertainty.
- Communicate effectively to align technical and business perspectives across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in identity security domains including IAM, Non-Human Identity/Secrets management, cloud IAM services such as AWS IAM and Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC protocols.
- Track record of delivering multi-tenant shared platform services consumed by various engineering groups.
- Experience leading initiatives building modules or domains from the ground up (0-to-1 development).
