Role Overview

This role supports all facets of the aPay Dayforce implementation lifecycle including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. Working under the Project Manager’s guidance, you may lead activities to design and deliver payroll solutions that meet customer needs, ensuring quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and verify customer business requirements and translate them into aPay Dayforce functionality.
• Develop and document innovative solutions tailored to address client business challenges.
• Configure aPay Dayforce modules to align with documented customer requirements.
• Facilitate consulting sessions both remotely and in person, documenting outcomes precisely.
• Participate in customer testing phases actively, resolving any issues identified in a timely manner.
• Engage in internal project meetings, providing clear progress updates on activities and deliverables.
• Offer ongoing consulting support and expert guidance to customers within your expertise areas.
• Act as a resourceful point of contact for functional queries from both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.
• Between 5 and 7 years of experience in software implementations; payroll or HR systems experience preferred, particularly familiarity with Ascender Pay is advantageous.
• Proven ability to design and implement software including strong documentation skills.
• Strong analytical abilities paired with creative and critical thinking to make informed decisions that support project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with experience advising external clients.
• Highly organized, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing pressure to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within project teams.
