About the Role
Wells Fargo is looking for an experienced Senior Security Research Specialist to join the Global Research and Economics Group supporting Wells Fargo Securities. This position involves acting as an independent contributor or collaborating with teams to guide research efforts focused on various industries, markets, and companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as an individual contributor within the Global Research and Economics Group.
- Lead or support research initiatives related to industries, markets, and companies.
- Maintain comprehensive research coverage with extensive knowledge of business, marketplace, and client needs.
- Work closely with business units to deliver outstanding client service.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and managers to resolve challenges and achieve objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of four years of experience in Securities Research or equivalent expertise demonstrated via work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Preferred qualifications include an MBA or master's degree in finance from a reputed institution.
Desired Skills and Attributes
- Excellent communication and analytical capabilities.
- Strong desire to progress in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and company valuation methods.
- Logical thinking, analytical skills, and a structured approach to problem solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Job Expectations
- Prior experience within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Insurance sector, or Investment Banking domain is required.
