Senior Security Officer

Role Overview

We seek a seasoned Senior Security Officer to join a respected hospitality organisation. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and the property, while maintaining a professional and service-focused demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage visitor and stakeholder enquiries courteously
• Control and manage key press operations and access protocols
• Perform security screening of visitors, premises, and vehicles
• Grant authorized access to designated areas
• Conduct routine security patrols and guard assignments
• Oversee crowd and vehicular traffic control
• Detect and report security hazards, irregular activities, and suspicious behavior
• Follow protocols when handling suspicious persons or vehicles
• Operate security and safety monitoring systems
• Provide support within the Security Command Centre
• Respond swiftly to security emergencies and incidents
• Coordinate with authorities on law enforcement issues as required
• Assist in emergency evacuation processes
• Document and escalate incident reports following procedures

Candidate Requirements

• At least a Secondary School education level
• Possession of a valid Senior Security Officer (SSO) Security Licence
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar security role
• Availability for a six-day work week with three rotating shifts
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as scheduled
• Professional, alert, and customer service oriented attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Basic monthly salary ranging from $2,600 to $3,200
• Additional bonuses
• Annual salary increases
• Night shift allowance of $10.50 per hour
