Senior SAP Functional Consultant – HR

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP Functional Consultant specializing in HR to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and senior management to align technology solutions with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive end-to-end SAP solution architectures that meet diverse business, technical, security, integration, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Lead multiple solution design initiatives concurrently, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards and quality benchmarks.
• Work closely with IT Planning, Project Managers, and business stakeholders during project initiation to define scope, architecture, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and resource needs.
• Analyze business needs and convert them into detailed, enterprise-aligned solution designs guided by SAP roadmaps and industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project phases, including architecture review, guidance on implementations, testing strategies, and support during user acceptance.
• Ensure all solutions comply with established project management methodologies such as ASAP, PMI, and Agile, as well as organizational governance.
• Support operational excellence by offering architectural guidance for incident, problem, and change management processes, system enhancements, knowledge transfer, and comprehensive documentation.
• Continuously update expertise on enterprise applications, cloud solutions, integration platforms, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies for improved solution delivery.
• Engage with SAP, technology vendors, system integrators, and external partners to evaluate solutions, resolve issues, and foster innovation.
• Maintain architecture documentation including blueprints, integration designs, data flows, application landscapes, and technology roadmaps.
• Mentor technical teams, solution analysts, and business users on architectural principles, fostering knowledge sharing and autonomy.
• Identify and recommend process improvements and technology optimizations that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize business value.
• Ensure compliance of all solution designs with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity policies, data governance, and applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Assess impact of proposed changes on applications, integrations, infrastructure, and business processes to minimize risks and enhance enterprise solutions.
• Promote reuse of enterprise-wide platforms, services, APIs, and architectural patterns to decrease complexity, technical debt, and cost.
