Overview

As a Senior Sales Analyst, you act as a key figure driving sales performance through robust data insights and actionable guidance. Collaborating closely with sales leadership, revenue operations, and finance, you enhance forecasting accuracy, optimize sales processes, and uncover opportunities for growth. Proficiency in both German and English is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance across regions, segments, products, and channels, highlighting trends, risks, and potential areas for improvement.
• Maintain and evolve KPI frameworks to consistently measure sales effectiveness and productivity.
• Develop and automate dashboards, scorecards, and reports for sales management and leadership teams.
• Continuously refine sales forecasting models and assess pipeline quality, conversion rates, and deal progress to provide clear action recommendations.
• Create scenarios to support quarterly planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
• Identify bottlenecks in sales processes and propose data-driven solutions in collaboration with Sales Operations.
• Contribute to territory planning, quota allocation, and performance measurement enhancements.
• Ensure CRM data quality and improve reporting structures.
• Analyze pricing strategies, discounts, and deal profitability to support margin optimization.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Marketing teams on business cases and go-to-market initiatives.
• Support strategic projects such as market expansion, segmentation, and product launches through detailed analyses.
• Prepare data-driven presentations and decision material for management and executive boards.
• Mentor junior analysts and help strengthen analytical capabilities within the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent German and English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in sales analytics, data analysis, revenue operations, business intelligence, or related roles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Strong expertise in analytics and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience working with forecasts, KPI models, and pipeline analyses.
• Knowledge in pricing, sales strategies, or financial modeling.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or process automation is advantageous.
• Ability to present complex datasets clearly and derive practical recommendations.
• Structured, analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Experience in dynamic growth environments or international sales settings.
