We are inviting experienced Ruby on Rails developers passionate about crafting educational products to join our innovative Product team. This role offers flexibility with options to work from our Sydney headquarters, hybrid setups, or fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the team reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Support & Validate platform. Your work involves architecting new features using a modern technology stack including Ruby on Rails, React, ES6, EventMachine, NodeJS, and web sockets. You'll collaborate closely with teammates eager to leverage AI tooling to speed up software delivery cycles.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a proficient full stack engineer with substantial background in Ruby on Rails and React or other JavaScript frameworks, underscored by at least 5 years of software development experience and a minimum of 1 year with Ruby on Rails. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, along with a passion for continuous learning and mentoring others. You should have an understanding of secure coding practices integrated into your development process and a commitment to building reliable solutions supported by automated tests. Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications are highly valued.
